Why should I choose Stacie Otto?

This company was started by and is run by family. We are two sisters that have a crazy passion for hair and makeup. We love our jobs and it shows in our attitudes and in our work. The other artists we have with us are close friends, like sisters. We have a great time getting everyone ready, it will be like an extension of your personal friends and family are getting you ready. We have done countless weddings and know how to make your look last in Florida!

 

Will you come to us? Is there a travel fee?

Yes, we will come to you wherever you are getting ready whether it's your home or hotel room. There is no travel fee if you are in the Orlando area. Travel fees apply to locations outside of Orlando and are based on distance to exact location and amount of artists required. We are also available for travel out of state and for cruise weddings. Please inquire for fees.

 

I am ready to book, what do I need to do? Is there a contract? Deposit required?

We will email you a blank contract, please fill out and email back to us. We do require a $100 non-refundable deposit along with a signed contract to secure your date. Dates cannot be held until both signed contract and deposit are recieved.

 

How large or small of an event will you book?

We are happy to offer services for bride only up to very large bridal parties. We have a network of extremely talented and experienced artists that we bring along depending on time constraints and total number of services booked.

 

Do you offer a day rate for weddings? What if I need someone to stay for touchups or a look change?

We do not offer a day rate for weddings. Everything is priced per service, per person. We certainly can have an artist stay for touchups or a look change. There is a fee of $75 per hour, per artist.

 

Do you offer trials?

Yes, we do offer trials for hair and makeup for a fee.  They can be done at our studio locations or at your location for an additional fee.

Do I need a trial?

We do recommend a trial. It is a great way for you to make sure the ideas you have in mind, or the pictures you saw on Pinterest and Instagram will actually suit you. However, we understand that many of you are coming in from out of town, and a trial is simply not feasible. That is okay with us. By communicating via email, sharing pictures of looks you are interested along with pictures of yourself, we can get on the same page well in advace of the big day. Even if there is minimal communication prior to the wedding day, rest assure we can come up with something the day of that you will love!

 

What brands of products do you use?

We use prestigious makeup and hair care lines including: MAC, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Temptu, Urban Decay, NARS, Kat Von D, Bumble and Bumble, Kerastase, Kenra, Aveda, Big Sexy

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit card, Paypal if sent as friends and family, Venmo and cash. We do not accept personal checks. Please note there is a 4% charge for all electronic payments.

What do I need to prepare for you the day of?

Natural light is our best friend, so preferably a cleared off table near a window and an outlet. We bring everything else! Clean faces and dry hair is our main request.

 

Should I wash my hair the morning of? Night before? 

This is a question that doesn't have one answer for all. Generally speaking, day old hair is usually the best. However, you know your head the best. If you have an extrememly oily scalp, you can wash it the morning of. We do ask that you do not flat iron it prior to our arrival. Once hair is flat ironed, it will not hold curl as well. 

 

Is gratutity included?

Gratuity is not included. Customary gratuity for excellent service is 15-20%.
